The Dirty South spent many years working in the southern independent leagues. It wasn't until the unionization of the PGA and B. Armstrong Ruby's resulting World Talent Initiative that the South finally found a spot among the PGA's ranks.
Professional Grappling Association (2010-)Edit
As a tag team thrust into the chaos of the PGA, the South at first found difficulty standing out. Their first major rivals included The Guns For Hire and The Poison Souls. In July 2011, they became the number one contenders to the U.S. Tag Team Championship.
