The Cool Kids (also known as TCK) was a professional wrestling stable in the Professional Grappling Association. The group initially formed in May of 2009 and has spawned splinter stables in the form of The Cool Kids Far East, Cool Kids WORLD, and The Red Sons as well as a new faction using the original name after the initial disbanding of the stable. Their gimmick is, loosely, that of a clique of self-centered jerks with a superiority complex; hence the name. The original stable appeared to disband in late 2009, with storylines about a reformation culminating in the creation of The Red Sons and a new stable taking the name of The Cool Kids. Members of the original PGA Cool Kids included Rusty Cooledge, Brian Genius, Pru, Crimson Skies, and MAKOTO. The new stable originally included of Rusty Cooledge, "American Idol" Dallas Leto, and "Backpack Honcho" Steve Riddick. For a while people just kind of assumed that Pru, Crimson Skies, MAKOTO, and Johnny Roppongi were essentially the new Cool Kids. To be frank it became quite convoluted.
Eventually, Genius, Pru and the Red Sons went on to create The Jet Set along with Penelope Cavendish, and The Jet Set feuded with The Cool Kids for a time. The Cool Kids was ultimately disbanded at Crowning a Champion's Waist '11, when the group separated itself from Cooledge and the Cool Kids label, allowing Leto to take the leadership role and form xYOUTH PLAGUEx.
