Constantine Davidov (born July 4, 1988 in Vitebsk, Belarus) is a professional wrestler currently signed to APG as one-third of The Russians.

Early Life[]

Davidov was born to Slobodan Davidov, a high school athletics coordinator, and Gloria Lukashenko, a secretary. Davidov himself admits to having a somewhat pedestrian home life, but when his father bought the neighborhood's first satellite dish, he finally found his passion in the fast-paced AAPW wrestling that they could receive.

Davidov trained under an aging sideshow grappler named "Beard Mogilev" and then set out to make a living at his dream. His gymnastrics training became a huge asset in him becoming the high-flyer he wanted to be, and eventually this work paid off--talent scout Josh Turner-Lacan noticed him at a Hronda Combat Sports show and offered him a contract with AAPW.

AAPW[]

Davidov was paired with the gigantic powerhouse (and fellow Belarusian) Petro Pugachev as "The Russians" upon his debut with the company. They proved to be a somewhat popular heel tandem, combining Pugachev's powerhouse moveset with Davidov's natural aerial flair and cocky attitude. A run for the tag titles was cut short by Pugachev breaking his leg, and not soon after they were both released from the company.

THE RUSSIANS (MARK I)[]

The Russians were an incredibly over Tag-Team faction, often drawing supreme ire from the normally reserved Japanese crowd. Pugachev suffered a broken leg during the middle of their run for the tag championships, sidelining the team until they eventually were handed their release.

APG/THE RUSSIANS (MARK II)[]

The Russians were signed with APG after Manuel Obando saw them work a show while he was touring Europe. Though initially slated to be a tag team, management's acquisition of Russian-born Pavel Ushakov modified the group into a trio, with Petro the obvious powerhouse, Constantine the high flier, and Pavel the "wild card".
